Responsible Service of Alcohol training (also known as RSA training course ) is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to a safe, enjoyable environment in licensed premises where alcohol is served and sold.
TP Training is approved by Liquor and Gaming NSW and accredited by the Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) to deliver this training course. This training course is nationally recognised.
If you are looking for work in any establishment that sells or serves alcohol in NSW, it is a government requirement for you to have completed a Liquor and Gaming NSW approved RSA course (Responsible Service of Alcohol Course).
RSA course should be undertaken only if you have never done this course before or your competency card expired more than 28 days ago. If you have a valid RSA competency card or it has expired recently, you need to do a L&GNSW online refresher course.

This RSA course combines plain English, videos, photos, and questioning to ensure all learners are able to have the best possible chance at comprehending the required knowledge and skills. Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the course to complete the necessary enrolment paperwork.
If participants arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled starting time, entry to the course will be refused.
RSA training covers alcohol-related topics, such as facts about liquor industry and alcohol, intoxication, harm minimisation strategies, benefits of responsible service of alcohol, strategies for responsible service of alcohol, refusal of service and underage drinking, packaged liquor and functions.
RSA training course consists of PowerPoint presentation, class activities, videos and end-of-the-day assessment.
