Enrollment and Payments
Yes, full payment is generally required upon booking to secure your spot. Some courses offer payment installment plans, which you can arrange when enrolling. For certain high-cost courses, this option may be particularly useful.
You may reschedule or cancel a course free of charge if done at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations or rescheduling requests within 48 hours may incur a fee. Refunds are processed per our terms and conditions, so contact [email protected] or call 1800 577 301 for assistance.
If you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled course, you are entitled to a full refund or can choose to reschedule. For cancellations made within 48 hours, a 50% fee may be applied. TP Training reserves the right to cancel a course, in which case you will be offered a full refund or reschedule option.
Certification and Assessment
For most courses, certificates are issued within 10-30 business days after course completion. Some courses, like First Aid or Traffic Control, issue temporary certificates immediately, allowing you to start work. The official certificate or license is then mailed once all regulatory approvals are completed.
If you do not pass the assessment on your first attempt, you will be given one opportunity to retake the test, usually free of charge. If additional attempts are needed, a small fee may apply. Our trainers will provide guidance to help you improve before your next attempt.
3. What is a USI, and do I need one?
A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a mandatory requirement for all accredited courses in Australia. You need to provide your USI when enrolling in any course, as TP Training cannot issue certificates without one. You can create or retrieve your USI online at the USI website.
Course-Specific Information
Some courses, like First Aid, Security Officer Training, and Food Safety, require pre-study. You will receive course materials and pre-study modules after enrollment. Completing this pre-work is essential to pass your assessments on the day of training.
Yes, all course fees cover both the training and the required assessment. In some cases, such as government-regulated licenses (e.g., RSA or White Card), there may be additional application fees that you must pay directly to the relevant authorities.
For Traffic Control courses, you will need to bring appropriate identification (100 points), and be prepared to wear hi-vis clothing and closed-toe shoes. TP Training provides the necessary Traffic Control equipment for practical training.
