Entry Requirements
Participants must:
- Be at least 17 years of age
- Hold a valid SafeWork NSW White Card
- Provide 100 points of ID according to SafeWork NSW guidelines
- Have the physical ability to lift and handle equipment
- Provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI), you can create your USI here.
- Complete a TP Training Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment

Training and Assessments
The course spans two classroom days (8 hours each) and one practical day (6 hours). Assessments will be conducted both in the classroom and onsite across multiple live projects. This includes the use of full-scale devices, real-world traffic scenarios, and written assessments to meet the RII training package standards.
- Assessment Methodology:
- Theory questionnaires and practical tasks
- Onsite work-based assessments
- SafeWork NSW approved practical observation
Participants must wear appropriate work gear, including high visibility vests, work boots, long sleeves, and trousers.
Certification and Validity
Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
- A SafeWork NSW Statement of Completion (SOC), valid for 90 days, allowing work under supervision
- A Statement of Attainment (SOA) for the units of competency
- A Traffic Control Work Training (TCWC) card from SafeWork NSW
Please note that the SOC is valid for 90 days, and participants must complete all live practical assessments within this period to receive their TCWC card. If the card is not received within four weeks, contact SafeWork NSW at 13 10 50.

- Attendance is mandatory, with students expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to complete registration.
- Late arrivals will not be admitted.
