Please note that while this course provides valuable training, it does not independently qualify participants to load and unload equipment.

Entry Requirements

Participants must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Hold a current SafeWork NSW White Card (or equivalent)
• Provide two (2) forms of identification
• Be physically and mentally capable of preparing to work safely in the construction industry
• Be physically fit and wear protective clothing and required PPE
• Provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number
• Complete the TP Training Language, Literacy, and Numeracy assessment

Learning Approach

Our training combines plain English with videos, photos, and questioning techniques to ensure all learners have the best chance of comprehending the required knowledge and skills. Attendance Requirements

This course consists of:

• 2 days of classroom-based training with allocated breaks
• 1 day of practical assessment

Important: Participants should arrive 15 minutes early to complete enrollment paperwork. Entry will be refused to anyone arriving 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.

Recommended Attire:

• Steel-capped or safety boots
• Sun protection: Hat, long-sleeved shirt, and pants

Training & Assessments

Training and assessment will occur at TP Training’s Seven Hills campus, guided by qualified trainers monitoring your progress. The delivery method includes:

• Classroom instruction
• Group discussions
• Practical demonstrations in a simulated work environment

Assessment methods may consist of written questions, case studies, and practical demonstrations, providing feedback on your progress and measuring your skills against industry qualification requirements.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the training and assessment, you will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by TP Training, listing the unit of competency achieved in this training course.
