Course Description
The CPR course provides students with the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
This course applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Our CPR course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to manage emergency first aid situations, including responding to an emergency situation, performing CPR procedures, communicating details of the incident, and reviewing the incident.

Entry Requirements
To be able to enroll in this training course with TP Training, participants must:
- Provide a form of photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport.
- Have the physical ability to demonstrate required tasks.
- Provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number. Get your USI here.
- Complete TP Training’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment.
This course combines plain English, videos, photos, and questioning to ensure all learners have the best possible chance at comprehending the required knowledge and skills. Attendance
This course requires pre-course study (approximately 3 – 5 hours) and 1 day of attendance for training and assessment.
Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the course to complete the necessary enrollment paperwork.
If participants arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled starting time, entry to the course will be refused.
Training & Assessments
Training and assessment will take place at TP Training, monitored by a qualified Trainer who will track your progress.
The course is delivered with both theory and practical elements and is completed via a simulated work environment. The delivery of training will include a mixture of classroom delivery, group discussions, and practical demonstrations.
Students will be assessed from the pre-study and classroom sessions. Assessment will confirm that knowledge and skills have been achieved to demonstrate competency across the units. Students are offered multiple opportunities to demonstrate knowledge and skills throughout the training program.
Certification
After successful completion of your 1-day training and assessment, you will receive a nationally recognized Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by TP Training, listing all the units of competency included in this training course.
